Our Story

Not every good thing
comes from a big company.

Mama Tried Bakery and Farmstand started with a simple belief: food should taste like someone actually cared about it. That means our sourdough gets a full 24-hour rise, our butter comes from real cream, and our farmstand carries whatever the garden decided to give us this week — not what a distributor said we should have.

We're right here in Liberty, off FM 1011, and we'd rather you know exactly where your dinner came from than guess. Pull into the driveway. Say hi. Take something home that wasn't made in a factory.

From the Farm

The ground gives
what it gives.

Our farmstand isn't a display case — it's a reflection of what's actually happening outside. Spring brings greens and radishes. Summer is peaches, tomatoes, and everything that needs to be eaten fast. Fall is squash and apples. Winter? Well, winter is when we bake a lot and think about spring.

We grow what we can, trade with neighbors for what we can't, and never stock something just because it looks good on a shelf. If it's on the stand, it earned its place.
